The lovely haze flavour is something that’s taken the whole pot population by storm when it was first deduced. It has intense and quite sharp fruity taste with a hint of citrus flavour too. The aftertaste is quite earthy that is a mixture of black pepper, incense, and musk!

The flowering time is about 9 to 10 weeks. These plants are capable of growing very tall; the internodes though are not too far apart. The sativa characteristic is visible in the shape of the leaves that are narrow. The formation of the buds is dense. The calyx to leaf ratio is also quite high. The stems are long and leggy and the buds have a gold tinge with the shade of log.

They can be cultivated effectively in both, outdoor and indoor environment. They grow best when the EC hydro systems are high and there’s organic setup. When they are cultivated in soil rather than hydrophils, the plants spectrum of terpens develops better, delivering a nice citrus flavour. When given sufficient amount of space, Haze Feminized cannabis plants can grow really high.

Haze feminized is a pure Sativa kind that can grow out to be a very tall but bushy plant, her leaves are long and narrow shaped.

The dense relatively small buds are covered with shiny crystals and beautiful orange hairs.

Balanced Effect

Amnesia Haze is one of our best yielding cannabis strains, producing 70-80 g per plant with up to 650+- g per metre squared under a 600w light. She can produce big outside, with full sun, reaching as much as 700g per plant. However extra care should be taken outdoors as this is a sensitive plant, so problems with weather, bugs or irrigation will harm your final harvest.

After the haze genetics came to Holland and several hybrids were made, an American expat would later combine one of these hybrids with a male derived from old school haze seeds creating the Amnesia Haze. We felt our collection of marijuana seeds would not be complete without one of the best hazes to ever be smoked, so we got a hold of some Amnesia and made feminised seeds.

Our Amnesia Haze is a well maintained plant growing just over a metre tall, to about 120cm. She can be grown outdoors but will require hot weather like Australia, North Africa and California, however may need to be grown in a greenhouse due to her long flower period.

Amnesia Haze, otherwise known as “ami weed” or “ammo weed”, exerts an almost psychedelic high that blasts the mind into the stratosphere. The flavour is fresh and fruity like you expect from a haze which only makes the smoke so much more enjoyable. Smokers are warned this is a strong smoke and, as the name suggests, users can often turn their brains off completely after a session.

Haze strains grow much taller than their Indica cousins, with heights of up to four metres recorded for plants that have been allowed to grow untrammelled in the right sunny conditions outdoors. Grown indoors, the plants can be kept to a manageable size with judicious pruning, and of course Haze strains crossed with Indica have different growing habits, combining the qualities of the two types.

From the late 1970s onwards, with the onset of the new generation of modern breeders, different Haze strains proliferated. Smokers prize the Haze strains for their euphoric, cerebral hit, as opposed to the more soporific effects that often come from Indica dominant strains. Connoisseurs also enjoy the clear, clean taste of Haze which includes characteristic citrus notes.

Haze strains originate from the heady, hippy days of the late 1960s when two brothers called Haze created a new Sativa strain with genetics reputedly from Thailand, Mexico, and Colombia.

A multitude of Haze strains are available in today’s marketplace including Nevil’s Haze from legendary Dutch grower Nevil Schoenmakers, launched in 1989 and said to be one of the most powerful Sativas on the planet. The 2004 cannabis cup winning Amnesia haze that is one of the most psychotropic or Amsterdam haze if a more mellow and chilled high that lasts for hours.

Haze types take longer to grow to maturity than Indicas, with flowering times of up to 14 weeks. As well as their gangling, branching height, Haze plants are noted for their long, spear like buds which are fluffier than the compact ones produced by Indicas.

Haze strains have also had their share of accolades over the years with no less than 34 awards coming at the annual Cannabis Cup, which has been running since 1989.
